A-Z Steps for Check-In:
Login to your state association software and on the Team Roster page, right click on each player photo and save it to your computer (where you can find it later) saved as a jpg and the player's name. I also printed the Team Roster out so I could easily see the list of player names and birthdates for the next step to build my team roster from scratch. FYI - your coaches will need to login to their individual Got Sport account using their email as their username in order to upload a photo to your team roster. They can reset the password to gain access fairly easily but managers cannot upload photos for them.
NEXT STEP: Build your team roster. Login to Got Sport (https://system.gotsport.com/) >From your Dashboard choose Team Management> Click on your Team Name > Update your basic team info here, save then click Team Members> Add Player> a search field will populate, enter player's name and date of birth> Search > Add (if they are registered with US Youth Soccer, they should populate). If a player is not found, check that you spelled the name correctly and enter the DOB correctly. If still not found, enter all the other information as needed. Be sure to add a headshot photo for each participant on your roster (including all coaches-but they will have to login to upload their own photos). Include jersey numbers for all players. However, position and ID numbers are NOT needed unless you want to include them for college coach recruiting purposes. Now your team roster should be built and populated in Got Sport. This is your team roster without any guest players and should list the same players as your current season roster.
NEXT STEP- Create the event roster. This will be the roster the referees use to check in your team at each game during the event.
Login to Got Sport (https://system.gotsport.com/) >From your Dashboard choose Team Management> Select the team> Rosters> Event> select 41st Annual Ice Breaker > scroll down and on the right, choose Clone Roster from > select Current Team Roster > the roster should then populate. Save, then you can add any guest players you have invited to play with your team for this event. Once the Event roster is finished, including guest players and coaches, click submit. This sends your event roster to us for approval.
Be sure to also upload the other required documents (Official roster, waiver verification form and any guest player forms, if needed).
We will freeze rosters once approved and your check-in is completed. You will need to print out the Event Photo Roster from Got Sport to take to each game during the Ice Breaker tournament.
